What follows are several Easter pictures... with especially witty commentary. 

Rabbid Robot

The Easter Bunny left this creepy little mechanical clone of itself for Summer--notice the fear in Alex's eyes as he carefully walks around the beast. It squeeks eerily a few times and then lunges towards its victums. 

Calm and Chaos

This photo captures both the pleasure and the pandemoneum that ensues when children have candy for breakfast. 

The Sidewalk

I took this nice picture of the sidewalk on Easter morning. It looked especially nice in the morning sunlight, with the grass around it. 

Hubba, hubba

Enough said. 

Joey's Monument

After the kicking and scratching, the eggs were finally sorted out. The kids then turned on the charm and posed for a picture next to "Joey's Monument." (You know, the rock formation--you remember Toole's Monument? Mom built this one.) 

Happy Easter from the Easter-ners

After we found baskets and all of the cleverly hidden eggs (that Easter Bunny!). The family paused for a picture before church--which they were late for-- in part out of habbit, in part from the Easter distractions, and in part for the thousands and thousands of Catholics blocking traffic attending church this morning. 

Chicken Little--A Little Too Big

The Easter Bunny lugged this chick to our house and left him in someone's easter basket. The eggs were smashed and all the chocolate was melted. 

The Graduate

Summer is very proud of these pictures and wanted to be sure everyone got to see them. The actual pre-school graduation ceremony isn't until later this spring and promises to be quite an affair.

I didn't have anything like this when I was a kid. ...Well, I guess there was that Honda 110... Alex is actually going up hill. That skateboard is fast and powerful, and turns like a snowboard.
 

Easter Egg Coloring

The kids are coloring Easter Eggs Saturday night. We said it was for family only. Megan's friend Ashley (across the street) claims she has never ever in her life colored Easter Eggs and looked at us with very sad eyes, so we extended the event to family..plus one. 

4-Wheeling Barbie-style

The kids are driving in the outback (yard). This was the girl's Christmas present. It is quite fast, and has a better stereo than my car. Summer is actually a safer driver than Megan...or Jackson for that matter.

Figure-Eights in the Snow

Snowmobile Daredevils.

These are the snowmobile daredevils on Philidelphia Flat on March 23, 2006. The day was glorious and the snow was perfect. We were the first ones on the mountain after new snow on a firm base of about five feet.
