The race begins. Note the hope, aspiration, and determination on everyone's face. We Luster's all belive we are winners! No holds barred, even in a friendly family race!
All is going according to plan, but then suddenly the "King of Queens" pulls a muscle!
I am clearly in pain here, so there should be no doubt that I would have beaten Tanner, Alex, and those other elementary school children if not for this incredibly unfair injury.
Looks like a win for Tanner...this time... It was only through the miracle of the photo finish that this victory was able to be detected.
Alex and Dallas had the most exciting race, barely touching the ground. Alex's performance, was helped substantially by his hair. Not a bad performance from the basketball/distance runner (Dallas) in third, and Megan and Summer eventually tied for "cutest" runners.(Alex has actually won several short distance races, he was the fastest kid at football camp--where they actually held races--and on his basketball team)
