This is my newest toy, an electric skateboard. I can control the speed with the remote control in my hand. You have to lean forward at take-off or it will throw you off the back. Otherwise it rides almost exactly like a snowboard--it is fast and it is awsome--no crashes yet, just some concerned and bewildered neighbors. It is powerful enough to take a young and fashionable beach-goer for a ride.
